On a family vacation in 2005, the ideas for Via Dolce Cafe & Gelateria were born.
As we wandered through the streets of Fort Lauderdale,
our father convinced us we HAD to try this amazing homemade Italian Ice Cream.
After visiting the gelateria each day of our trip,
our family realized that gelato was just what East Brunswick needed!
After multiple courses around the country and trips to Italy,
we have developed our own recipes to what we hope you will believe
to be some of the best gelato outside of Italy.
Kim LoSacco, "the older sister," graduated from Rutgers University in 2000
with a degree in Communications & Linguistic Disorders.
Prior to opening Via Dolce, she ran a small baking business, was a fitness specialist,
and became the mother of 3 "gelato-makers in training."
Jenn Plumser, "the younger sister," graduated from the University of Delaware in 2005
with a degree in Business Management & Psychology.
After graduation, Jenn attended the French Culinary Institute in New York
and received a certificate in Restaurant Management.
Our goal is to bring a little piece of Italy to you!
